I am Pamela Fry, a Certified Art Therapist.
I offer strengths-focused, gentle and effective art therapy. My approach to group therapy favours a wide choice of materials, gentle encouragement, and participant autonomy. Groups function best when their needs are heard and met.

In just one year, I have provided group therapy to university students, union members, immigrant groups, grief groups, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation clients, and others.

What I hear from clients is that art therapy is the best part of their week. Unlike other therapies, which may heighten anxiety, art therapy provides palpable relief from symptoms of mental stress. It also results in self-discovery, which is an important and powerful process in managing mental health and wellness.
If you feel that you are experiencing a mental health crisis, or you are having suicidal thoughts, it’s important to find the right type of support as soon as possible. The following resources are available in Canada without charge.
